Most cleaning companies make you fill in a form before they show a price. Here is the arithmetic. Prices are agreed directly between you and the cleaner — these are the starting rates people post in Austin, plus a 15% service fee.

We cannot guarantee you get your deposit back. That is your landlord’s decision, and it depends on wear, damage and the tenancy agreement as much as on cleanliness. What we can do is make sure the work is done to a list you set, documented with photos, and paid for only after you have seen it. We are also new in Austin — post the job and you will see whether someone is free, which costs you nothing either way.

How much does move-out cleaning cost in Austin?
On this platform cleaners start around $35 an hour and you add a 15% service fee. A studio usually takes one cleaner two to three hours, a two-bedroom takes two cleaners three to six hours, and a three-bedroom house five to eight. That puts most move-out cleans between roughly $100 and $500 depending on size and how much is left behind.
Is move-out cleaning different from a deep clean?
In practice yes. A deep clean is judged by you. A move-out clean is judged by whoever holds your deposit, against their checklist — which usually pays much more attention to the oven, the fridge, window tracks and inside cupboards than a normal clean would.
Should I clean before or after moving out the furniture?
After, if you possibly can. An empty property cleans faster, which means fewer hours, and the cleaner can reach the floors, skirting and inside cupboards properly. Booking the clean for the day after the move is the usual pattern.
Do cleaners bring their own supplies?
Ask in the job description — some do, some expect you to provide them. Say clearly which you want, because it changes the price. If you are supplying, there is a cleaning kit list covering the basics.
Will this get my deposit back?
We cannot promise that — the decision is your landlord’s and it covers damage and wear, not just cleanliness. What helps is working to their written checklist and having timestamped before and after photos, both of which come as standard on a job booked here.
What if the clean is not up to standard?
Do not mark the job complete. The payment is still held in escrow at that point, so there is a clear moment to raise it before any money is released. Walk the property first, then accept.
Can I book it for the same day?
You can post it for the same day. Whether it fills depends on who is available — we are new in Austin and will not pretend otherwise. Posting is free and you only pay once a cleaner accepts.
