Last updated: 5 July 2026 · This Promise forms part of our Global Terms of Service and applies to Jobs booked and paid entirely through the Platform.

1. What the Payment Protection Promise is

When we say your payment is protected, this is exactly what we mean: your payment is held securely by our payment processor Stripe and is only released to the Helper once the Job is completed. If a booked Job is not performed at all, you receive a full refund. If a Job is performed materially different from what was agreed in the booking, we review the case and may refund some or all of the amount paid.

2. What is covered

(a) Jobs booked, agreed and paid entirely through the Platform; (b) non-performance: the Helper did not show up or did not perform the Job — full refund; (c) material non-conformity: the work performed deviates substantially from the written booking description — partial or full refund after review; (d) double charges or payment processing errors — full correction.

3. What is not covered

(a) Jobs or payments arranged outside the Platform (off-platform dealing voids all protection); (b) mere dissatisfaction where the Job was performed as described; (c) indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or follow-on costs; (d) damage to property or persons during a Job — such claims must be addressed to the responsible Helper and their liability insurance, as Helpers act as independent contractors (see Section 3 of our Privacy Policy and Section 1 of the Terms); (e) claims reported later than 72 hours after scheduled completion, unless you could not reasonably have discovered the issue earlier.

4. Maximum amount

The maximum reimbursement under this Promise is the price actually paid through the Platform for the affected Job. This Promise is a voluntary service promise; it does not limit any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer, and it is not an insurance product.

5. How to make a claim

Report the issue within 72 hours of the scheduled completion via our contact page or support@findyouronedayjob.com, including the booking reference, a description and, where possible, photos. We aim to resolve claims within 10 business days. During review, the disputed payout is withheld.

6. Fraud

Abusing this Promise (false claims, staged disputes) leads to immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
