Fixed-price projects – FAQ
How is a fixed price different from hourly?
With a fixed-price project you agree on one total for the whole job up front, no matter how many hours it takes. Our 15% service fee is added to that total, so a $1,000 quote costs you $1,150 – still one number you know before the crew starts. Hourly is better for quick, small tasks; fixed price is better for multi-day jobs where you want budget certainty.
How do I get a price?
Post your project (for free) with the scope and number of days. Vetted local crews review it and send you fixed-price quotes. You compare and choose – there is no obligation.
Is my payment safe?
Yes. Your payment – the agreed quote plus the 15% service fee – is held securely and only released to the crew once the project is finished and you are satisfied. The 15% service fee is always calculated on the agreed price, however the payment is split.
