You keep 85% of the agreed price. The customer pays a 15% service fee on top of it. On a $100 job, the customer pays $115, you receive $85, and findyouronedayjob.com keeps $30 — which covers Stripe processing, payment protection and support. Nothing is deducted afterward and there are no other fees.

- A government-issued ID — Stripe verifies who you are before it can pay you
- A bank account or debit card that can receive a Stripe payout
- A phone, to see jobs and talk to the customer
- A way to get to the job — car, bus, or bike, depending on what you take
You do not need a resume. You do not need an interview. You do not need previous gig-app experience. Most of these jobs are judged on whether the work got done, not on your work history.
What it costs you
Nothing. Signing up is free, browsing jobs is free, and there is no membership you have to buy to get work. There is an optional Helper Pro subscription for $9.99 a month, but it is genuinely optional and it does not change your 85% share. If someone tells you otherwise, they are wrong.

Am I an employee?
No. Work booked through findyouronedayjob.com is independent contractor work. You are responsible for your own taxes, including self-employment tax, the same as with any other gig work. If you do this regularly, it is worth talking to a tax professional — we can tell you how payment works, not how to file.
How fast do I really get paid?
The payout is released the same day the customer confirms the job is done. How quickly it lands in your account after that depends on your bank and Stripe, not on us.
What if the customer refuses to confirm the work?
The money is still held — it does not go back to them automatically and it does not come to us. Contact us and we look at the job. This is exactly why we hold funds instead of trusting a handshake.
What if I show up and the job is not what was described?
Do not mark it complete and do not do work you were not told about. Contact us first. Because nothing has been paid out yet, there is a clear point to stop and sort it out before money changes hands.
Do I need my own tools?
Depends on the job, and the posting will say. Having your own basic tools opens up more work, but plenty of jobs need nothing but you.
Is there a minimum number of jobs?
No. There is no minimum schedule, no quota, and no penalty for going quiet for a month.
