Last updated: 5 July 2026 · This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of our Global Terms of Service.
FindYourOneDayJob is built on trust between real people. This Policy sets out what is and is not allowed on the Platform. We may remove content, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts that violate it, and where required we cooperate with law enforcement.
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes, in your own name, with accurate information. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for complying with the laws that apply to you — including, for Helpers, tax registration, trade/licensing and insurance obligations that apply to the services you offer.
The following may not be posted, offered or performed via the Platform: anything illegal; tasks requiring a professional licence the Helper does not hold (e.g. regulated electrical, gas or medical work); transport of weapons, drugs or hazardous materials; academic fraud (ghost-writing exams etc.); adult or sexual services; surveillance or stalking of individuals; tasks involving minors without a guardian’s consent and presence; and any task designed to harm people, animals or property.
Do not: misrepresent your identity, skills or qualifications; discriminate against or harass other Users (Platform bookings must be free from discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, age or sexual orientation); post false reviews or manipulate ratings; take communication or payment off-platform to circumvent fees or payment protection (“off-platform dealing”); spam, scrape or data-mine the Platform; upload malware; infringe intellectual property; or create multiple/fake accounts.
Meet in appropriate settings, verify job details in the Platform chat, never share financial credentials, and report unsafe situations immediately. Helpers must refuse work they are not qualified or equipped to perform safely. In emergencies, always contact local emergency services first (112 in the EU, 911 in the US).
Profiles, job posts, messages and reviews must be truthful, respectful and free of unlawful, defamatory, obscene or misleading content. We may remove content that violates these standards (notice-and-action pursuant to the EU Digital Services Act).
Report violations via our contact page or info@findyouronedayjob.com. We review reports promptly, and — where legally required — inform you of the outcome and available redress.
Depending on severity: warning, content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent termination (see Sections 6–7 of the Terms of Service). Fraud and safety violations lead to immediate termination. We reserve the right to withhold payouts connected to fraudulent transactions to the extent permitted by law.
